Ch. Trinka III
Our first Vizsla, Ch. Trinka III, born on 8/22/71, was the last puppy left in a litter of eight from an imported bitch that was bred to Dr. Bud McGivern's stud dog, Ch. Zorba Zahav Adom. Trinka’s mother was sired by Holland Champion Leo. In her very first show Trinka, with a very novice handler, took a 5 point major from the puppy class. We learned a lot raising her. Trinka lived to be 15 ½ years old. In 1979 she took First Place Veterans Bitch at the VCA Nationals and third place at the 1985 Nationals.

In 1974 we bred Trinka to Ch. Miklos Von Wold. On July 25th 1974, our second dog, Ch. Dorratz Ramriver Beethoven CDX (Toby I) was born. This would be our first “Dorratz” Champion. He went Best of Winners at Westminster in 1976, Best of Opposite Sex at Westminster in 1979, and became the first ever VCA Nationals Obedience High In Trial.

Our third dog, Ch. Dorratz Diamond Tiara CD, VC, born on 1/20/80, started her show career at just under four months old with three “Best Puppy In Match” wins. At eight months old she was Reserve Winners' bitch at the VCGNY Speciallty Show. Tia finished her Championship title with four majors. Her only breeding to Ch. Taunee’s Loki Santana CD, ROM, HOF produced an all Champion litter of five: BISS Ch. Dorratz Cariad Tiara’s Jewel CD, ROM; Ch. Dorratz Diamond Jim ROM; Ch. Cariad Arthur of Dorratz; Ch. Dorratz Emporer Caesar; Ch. Dorratz Copper Penny. Tia was the 12th recipient of the VCA Versatility Certificate.

BISS Ch. Dorratz Cariad Tiara’s Jewel CD, ROM, known as Juli, was born on 7/13/82. Juli finished her Championship title in just eight shows with three majors including going Best of Opposite Sex at Westminster at 18 months old. She was owner handled to 21 Best of Breed wins, 24 Best of Opposite Sex wins, a Sporting Group 1 and a Group 4. An accomplished Show dog herself, Juli produced nine Champions (some of which took group placements), including: Ch. Dorratz Double Trouble UD, MH, NA, VC, ROM, HOF, Top Producer; Ch. Having had previous experience with Vizslas , Donna was well aware of what it meant to own one. However, when DJ was born on 10/26/90, Donna was about to receive her foundation dog that would soon change her life in many ways. DJ had an exceptional temperament, incredible work ethic, and high trainability as is still evident and strong in her progeny today. From three litters she produced five Champions, two ROM Get, two Top Producing Get, and Get with over 15 titles in various venues.
